More than a hundred years ago, when Lipa Mill started a business with paper, and then with the production of notebooks, it was the beginning of a daily interaction with children that continues to this day. Countless amount of tasks, compositions, secret messages on torn or cheat sheets, ears twisted in the corners of the sheets, a whole ocean of good and bad grades were written in our notebooks during all these years! Generations have grown up with our notebooks!

The children who have become important and great people – who then bought Lipa Mill notebooks for their children. Let’s keep going like this, following the children and all the changes in the world around us. Today, we are among the first to have smart notebooks that can be supplemented with the applications on smart devices! Times change and notebooks change, but one thing remains the same. Lipa Mill is still today, as throughout its long history, a favourite choice of notebooks for schoolchildren and their parents.

Ever since prehistoric times, people have been writing down thoughts and ideas, the walls of caves all over the world are full of them! The way of life changed and the caves were long abandoned, but our need to preserve knowledge by writing it down remained unchanged. When Lipa Mill started a paper and notebook business more than a century ago, the goal was to make recording knowledge easier and more accessible to everyone. Millions and millions of printed sheets are proof that we succeeded in this. Lipa Mill has been with us for a very long time, and it will be in the future – because people like to know things and want to write them down!
